Why yes, I do!

haha, Sara took this photo.  So for my first entry I am writing about my crossfit experience.

I really didn't think I would take to crossfit.  But I love it. I have scoliosis, with a very aggressive curvature.  I have lost two inches of height in the last twenty years. I started experiencing a lot of pain about two years ago in my back.  I was not doing very good working out on my own and thought I'd give crossfit a try.

Crossfit has done wonders for me.  I have more energy and stamina. I am in no pain (presently).  Now if I could give up chocolate, I might lose the fat as well as gain muscle.  ;)

On top of this, in January, things happened that really were nice for my self-esteem in a good way.

I invited friends to come to the gym.  They could come for free in January. Reva Blaney came several times.  She is an amazing athlete. One day our coach had us split up into teams.  One young man (who I didn’t even know) said, we want Anna-Marie on our team. I looked around for another Anna-Marie.  Then I thought he was just joking. He said, no, Kylie said you kicked her butt last week. Kylie is small like me, in her 20's and very strong. So I'm happy I was able to somewhat keep up with her.

The week before Ted and Reva came and we had a really hard workout. Ted said he was impressed with my endurance. 

Another time and Wyatt showed Reva and I a picture of me posted to instagram and it actually looked good!

Sara brought her friend Ashley Moody and she was genuinely surprised and impressed to see what I could do.and 

Just an amazing month for my self-esteem.

BELOW:  Minoha (Yvonne's friend and Eneyra's daughter) and Yvonne just had to have a puppy.  So we, as the wonderful parents we are (lol) caved.  Minoha received a German Shepherd pup and Yvonne received a golden retriever pup.  Then both these girls went on missions for our church.  haha
Now we are taking care of their animals while they are gone.  Warning:  If your child asks for a pet, just plan on being the caretaker no matter how much they promise they will take full responsibility.  (on a side note---I love it too)
